I think two big culture shock between American and Taiwan are religion and smile because our religion is more different, but I never believe have god in the world. When I first day came here, I could see every American students smile every time. For example first day I saw the Lock who was big power, and worked in the dorm. He opened the door and than gave me big smile for me. Also RA gave me big smile too. At that time I was thinking about what’s wrong for them?? Why they gave me big smile. I never got big smile in Taiwan, when first day I came to school. In my opinion culture shock between American and Taiwan have a lot of different, but we have to respect every culture shock. If you don’t like just quit that culture. We can not do some bad for which culture you don’t like.
