I think Sister Helen hope the students can be friendly and nicely for each other because her students were frowning, frustrated with themselves, and edgy with one another, so Sister Helen want to stop this. So, Sister Helen told every student to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down on the paper. After the weekend she gave each students his or her list, and she was heard the student smiling. The students were happy with themselves and one another again because I think Sister Helen want to every student know the people should be love, and care about each other together. Sister Helen hope each of her students can be nice for each other, and then she made it, but she never know every students were save the list nice thing paper forever, so after Mark got the kill then every classmates were met together in the Chuck’s farmhouse for lunch. After lunch, Mark’s parent showed the paper and then told to Sister he always save this paper in his wallet. Every classmates heard that and then each her students told to her they still have the list nice thing of paper. Sister Helen felt cried because she felt moving. In my opinion I like Sister Helen did this exercise because she made every student’s heart not edgy, so everybody tried to open oneself heart then what happen is every body were getting friendly, and love each other. I don’t know what is big lesson of this essay, but I learn something in this essay which is don’t be edgy for anyone, and love together because edgy can make you feel frown for everything. For example my sister always get the number one for the test, but someone who hate my sister always get the number one, so they start say any bad thing for everybody try to let my sister feel bad, but are they happy? No, they never get the happy because they are edgy. Everybody can have edgy and kindness. Who have kindness or edgy a lot, I think is depend from who they want to choose.

I can see I am not a good person, and I am not a good brother because I am not loved and care about the people who always try to help me. I see I was always playing with the friends. If I cannot get what I want or I lose the something like a game, I will try to break the something what is important for that person. Everybody very hated me at that time, so I see I was very edgy for everything. For example my mother always care about my sister and me. When my mother cares my sister more than me, I would try to hit my sister or broke her toys. However I was not feel happy because I was edgy a lot. One day my grandfather knew I was edgy a lot he told me try to be nice and love everything you will get a lot of happy. At that time I was wake up because I get the happy with my friends and my sister. I learned communicate and compliment to anybody is important even though is not work for anyone, but they will be happy because everybody like to hear good thing about oneself. In my opinion I think everybody have edgy, but if we compliment somebody then he or she should be kindness and try to love you. I think it is same with what Sister Helen did with her students because after she did that every student were change to friendly for each other.

I like to share this good story because Sister Helen’s students were very edgy together, but she find the way which is told everybody wrote down the good thing on the paper for the classmate, so after classmate saw it they were became friendly and kindness for each other. I think the purpose of this story is to encourage complimenting the people who you love and you care about. For example when every student got the compliment, Sister Helen’s students got the smiling. After this thing, everybody became friendly to each other. We often tent to forget the important of show our love and affections because when the time past a lot, that also erase some affections and love. So the students got a lot of happy at that time, but everybody got the happy and also affections. I like to share this story to anybody because I learn sometimes the smallest of things, could mean the most to another. I heard this sentence from my father, but I didn’t get it what is that mean because when my father told me this sentence, I was very young. However after I read this story I think I get it. Big example is what Sister Helen did write down the good thing for classmate. In my opinion I like this story because this story make me remember the compliment, affection, love, and what my father said to me before. I kind of know why this story is very famous because this book remind me don’t forget the compliment, affection, and love. This story also tell me don’t let the time erase all the good thing.

Even though her students did not talk about or mentioned about this work again, they still keep their paper to themselves forever and ever.

2. The students were surprised a lot because they had never known good thing about them this much. Moreover, everybody has at least one good thing, but they had not realized that before. After the students got their paper with their names and nice things of them back, they seemed happy suddenly. In addition to my personal though, people probably do not know about nice thing they have got. However, other people might like or love you a lot. Even if they do not talk to you directly, they still think that you are such a great person ever. There are many people all around the world, yet they are all totally different from each others. Because of the races, property, parents, and environment around them, it makes people are so different. Indeed, they are all having different thoughts.

3. According to “All the good things” story, many people love this story so much just like me, yet I really love this terrific story ever. First, after I have read this story, I could feel the author’s feeling. Furthermore, I assume if I were Sister Helen Mrosla, who is the story’s author, I would cry in the end, too. Because this little piece of paper would affect the students a lot more than I thought, it is really good thing year after year. And you still recognize about these nice little work but huge affect. Also if you look at the paper over and over again after ten or twenty years, you still have good memory about it no matter what. I would like to pass this story to my friends, my family, and my relatives because it is the one of the best stories I have ever read. Beside that I am impressed, and I will keep this story for my point of view to live my life, too.

Experience from painting
Painting on the wood, I enjoyed it a lot whether it is on the wall or wood. We had two colors, which were blue and plain white. We decided to use these colors because it is the school’s color. In addition to make it creative, we tried to paint with shade of blue color. By making the blue color become lighter, we added and mixed white color together with blue color. But we had to get the newspaper from Mr. Hageman first. Because we did not want to mess up the floor, we laid them covered the floor. After we started to paint on the wood, we definitely enjoy doing this fun activity. However, this work was sort of a little bit messy. Eventually, we were done painting all the TMP logo wood, and it shinny color on the wood was gorgeous. Although our hands and clothes got painted by accidently, we had a blast.

We finished the cut part. Now we move to patting part. Today, we were panting the TMP logo, and we decided use blue and white color for pant the wood. We put the newspaper first because we don’t want when we panting the color touch ground. We had problem before we started panting the wood because we didn’t want color we want to go first. So, Mr.Nakagawa gave us idea, and then we tried the panting blue first then next time we put little white in the blue then pant the wood. That looks cool because it is not all blue, so when we saw the wood, we kind of get some surprise. We panting all the logo today, and it is fun in the class. I think everybody very enjoy this project. We were not believe we made it, and we will finished this project before we go back to home.

PAINTING THE WOODS

Today, we started painting the woods. We were planning to use the Navy Blue and White. We were going to paint it at outside but it was freezing. So we put the newspapers on the floor in Nakagawa’s classroom and we started painting. The problem was how we paint the color looks like fading away. So we put blue on the top. Then, we put a little bit of white color below of blue part. We kept painting like that way. After we go through the whole letter, it looked not naturally connected with each color. So we used the newspaper to make the color similar and natural. It was not easy to see exactly right color but we did it good job. After school was dismissed, Max, Tatum, Mary, and I did finish painting. Also Lydia helped us. While I was painting, the paint was in my pants and shoes. Even if the paint didn’t come out, I was so happy to see the end of the painting.

I was really excited to paint the TMP logos and the stars. I had been waiting to do the painting job for a long time. We painted TMP first instead of star because we do not know how it will turn. We painted T to the P. The color first, it was blue and when it goes down it turns little bit brighter since we mixed white color together. We struggled because of the line that on the logos since we did not paint it right. The class went so fast and we did not finish the painting. After school me and some classmates stayed at the classroom and did more work. We did not finish the painting but by tomorrow I think we can finish it. We only have a week left to finish the work. It is a short time but I think we can finish by the time. I hope I can use drill to screw the logos to. Anyway, far as I know we are doing awesome job.

Experience of Painting

Today, we have to paint "tmp" logos. Last time, we bought blue and white paint for painting and we thought about start out blue paint for top to white for bottom like fading out. When we actually painted, it was different from what we thought. We didn't know how much we had to pour white paint for fading out. It was not working very well to pour little bit more and more white and painting. We decided to paint blue and white mixture first and paint over blue. Actually, it was work, but we had to see very close. When we painted the logos, we only need two persons. I didn't have anything to work on so, I started to paint stars for white paint and let them dried. After we were done at paint one side of logos, we had to paint second logos back for blue. We also painted 2' by 4' too then, let them dried.

time goes fast, it was already december. I remember the first day that we discussed about to make a project, everyong just sit on the floor, we have no idea about this. later on, we had a idea that we could make a TMP logo, than we started to make tha plan about the step. first step, we measure the data about the logo, we splited the TMP loge to six parts, than we went to the home deport to bought the wood, and cut it. it thinks really easy to cut, however I didn't do anything, but i heard they said that was really hard to concrol. now, we need to put the six parts together, and painting it. The most important thing is I am going to cut the wood, however,i was really scare the chainsaw.

Before we did the project, I don't think we can do very well because we never did it before, and we also have no enough time, however we really enjoy it, but we always have different ideas. So, we spented lots times on discussing. The TMP logo has six parts. So, we have to divide the work, after that, we need measure the data, and we also need calculation, we got lots of problems on this part. next step, we need to buy the wood, and cut the six part form the different two woods. Now, we still working on how to put the six parts together, and how to make it perfect. I am sure we can do our best, and we can finish it before christmas.

Begin from first day; I was thinking this project would be lost. However we made it. I was feeling give up this project because I was thinking it is not cool and I was feeling lazy, so I was just give up. When we cut the wood together in the weekend, I changed my thinking because we made it, and I feel I have power to do this project. Even through we still have some problem now. For example we have not decide what color we want, so we have to think and figure out. I feel our class is getting well for make a TMP logo because I can feel everybody have power to do it. Even through we will have hard time to make it, but I think we can fix and then figure out because we are the best. In my opinion from begin to now we finally make a TMP logo. Now we have to make a start. The start is little hard, but we can make TMP logo, so that mean is we also can make start in this time. I hope we can finish this project because I want to enjoy what is TMP logo look for.

The process of the progressive project
From the day before we left for ski trip, we had planned to do this wonderful project. First of all, we were just sitting in the classroom and discussed about what we should do for the school. Later on, we came out with a terrific idea, which was making a gigantic TMP logo. After we got an idea, we started the first step. We measured and calculated the TMP logo from the one in front of the auditorium. Moreover, we separated T, M, P, and other three pieces. When we decided that the best material should be wood, we went to Home Deport, for checking many types of wood out. Also, we ordered three pieces of wood. Two weeks ago, we used an electric saw cut the wood neatly. Although it was not that easy to cut the wood by using this technology saw, we actually did this work in about three hours. The consequence of this part came out amazing. Even we had a little bit of problems; we solved them all as teamwork. However, we thought that we were not going to accomplish this project shortly. Literally, we have done this project so far, and we are proud of this hard-working together.

PROGRESS OF OUR PROJECT

Already, it is December. We started this project at the November and the half of this project is done. We designed how to make the letter and calculated to fit the size that we want. Then, we cut woods. Cutting wood was hard to us because we haven’t done this before. However, it was pretty fun experience. Learning something that I never experience is good for us. It makes us to have bigger mind about the world. Even if I always messed up and had mistakes, I like to learn these things. Also, having many experiences in America is special for us. So we will never forget of doing new things. We just discussed about the color of woods and how to connect these woods as one. We are going to divide into the painting group and cutting group. I think it would be awesome after we finish everything.

Our class had been working really well on the TMP logo project. After we put TMP logo together I was happy that we made this far. I remember that we were deciding about the project like almost a month ago. It was not easy to make it this far though. If our classmates did not help each other out, we might struggle for the project. We only have to do painting, nailing and making star for our logo. I am really excited to see the complete shape of our project. We were worked really hard. So, I hope after we finish the project, many people will think well about our TMP logo project.

Project Progress

Until today, we finished cutting woods and think about how we will going to do our width. When I think back, we did a lot of things. Start with the idea which is about what we will going to do through cut the woods. I can still remember brainstorming about the idea and cutting woods. I think because this is my first time to doing group project and first time to cut the woods. Even if, this is my first time, Mr. Nakagawa praised me. I think I have talent in this area. Also we measure the "tmp" logo, draw it, and cut the woods. Now we have to measure and make star(cross). Also we have to paint all the logos and attach together. We separate to two team and I join in the painting team. We will going to paint all the logos and we will nail the 2 by 4 woods. I can not wait to finish this project.

It was really excited to start doing our project. I mean we actually started a week before but measuring and drawing, we just started today. It harder than what I thought. I had to draw a shape that goes to the P and, it looked way small. So I had to think about it for few minutes. Also I have the smallest shape in our classroom too. I thought that other classmate’s shape should be harder than mine. It was hard to draw a semi-circle on my shape. I used a ruler and I had a protractor. It was really helpful but the protractor did not help on the other classmate’s semi-circles since it was too small. I am excited to help Mr. Nakagawa on cutting woods that we made. We have to be careful when we cut the woods but, if we cut the woods that means we are half way done to our project.

I thought it was impossible to figure it out. However, I finally figure that out during the weekend. So the solution is when the manager came back with 50 dollars 3 of us share it to 10 dollars and 20 dollars left. We gave to manger the 20 dollars. So if we add up the money that we spent on the hotel and manager is 270 dollars. And we have 10 dollars each so that makes 30 dollars. So if we add up 270 dollars and 30 dollars it becomes 300 dollars. I was so confused, because how the hack that can be. I was so worried about to figuring about the problem. However, now I am happy hahaha.

Yesterday on the mission
Yesterday on November 22, there were the teacher, Jacky Yu, Max Kim, and me at the back of the school doing some activity. This activity is dangerous and intense for the kids and girls because it needed to use electric saw. First, we can possibly cut our own fingers off by accidently. So, we had to be really cautiously with this electric saw. We left the dorm at two pm, and then we were ready by half past two because we had to set up everything, such as wood, electric saw, and place to set down the wood. Before we started this work, we were a little bit nervous about the saw. Also, we were worried about how long we were going to take to get this done. After we were doing this work, we enjoyed it a lot because we had never done this before. Therefore, we could do that all day long to finish this work. Eventually, we took about three hours including cleaning and preparing to accomplish this work. Finally, the consequence of this project came out not too bad. Literaly, it comes out terrific, and we are proud of this hard working.

I had a lot of fun cutting woods with the hand saw. It was my first time using the hand saw. First, it was kind scary because you never know what is going to happen. However, it turns out really good. We did not destroy any of our woods and it actually looks really cool. First when we start the project I never thought of there is way to finish it. However, we did it and it works well. I think we are like 50percent done on our project. We also had some troubles on cutting. It was hard to cut curve lines on the letters. We just have to cut last part of woods and paint, decorate the TMP logo. I am really excited to get done with our project. It will be awesome to have project done.

THE PROCESS OF DOING OUR PROJECT

I thought the project that we are doing would take long time because we haven’t done this before. However, our project is going on faster than I expected. We thought about project we are going to do. After we decided what we are going to do, we measured the letter hanging on the wall next to the auditoriom and calculated into size we wanted. We bought the woods from the wood shop and drew the line on the wood. I think it was hardest thing that I did for the project to draw real letter on the wood. I had difficulties of measuring the angle. Last weekend,Mr. Nakagawa, Max, Tatum, and Jacky did cut the woods. I realized i measured wrong size and learned how i should measure right size. I felt sorry for everybody. However, they did good job with my letter eventhough I did wrong. Today, we decided how we make the letter as three dimention. We will going to put the other woods around the letter. So we marked the line in the space to put the stick in the middle of the letter. I can’t wait until it would complitely be made by us.

Project Process

Since we had a "tmp" logo project. We had to come up with idea about what we will going to do. After that we decided to doing food project and reform project, we thought we will going to do those. However, the teachers were not available, so we tried to do reform project. First time, we thought about reform furniture but later we decided to doing lantern project. Then we come up with "tmp" logo project. Also we had to come up with materials. After we choose the woods, we went to see woods for using it. Then each person draw each person's logo and boys cut the logo on the weekends. Because they just can cut straight, they cut my letter "t." So I had to draw other "t" and we decide to cut that "t" and other letters later. We still have to decide what color we will go to paint on the letter and how we will go to do for side and how we will go to hang the "tmp" logo on the wall.

According to last friday, we had to figure the question out. So, I now come out with an idea. In that case, they paid 250 dollars. But they got 50 dollars back. Then they gave 20 dollars for the tips, and the total that they paid is 270 dollars.
Eventually, they only paid 270 / 3 = 90 dollars each persons. The consequences for this question are $ 90 from each, and they kept $ 10 to themselves.

Missing Money

They get $50 back and and they give $20 for tip and they get $30 for each. When calculate how much money did they spend, the thought they lose $10. But $250+30+20=300. In $90 it's include tip.

Each person spend $90. So 90*3=270. They spend $250 for room. 270-250=20 and 20 is for worker.

Let’s assume a situation that happened in the hotel. Max, Mari, and I went to hotel to stay and paid 300 dollars for a day. Next day, one of the hotel managers knocked our room and talked about money that we paid last night. He was saying about they got wrong amount of money from us. It costs 250 dollars. So he gave us 50 dollars back. We divided each 10 dollars and gave to the manager 20 dollars for a tip. We calculated how much we did spend for hotel for making sure about it. However, ten dollars are gone. The reason why ten dollars are gone is because we calculated each 90 dollars and added 20 dollars that we gave the manager for a tip. So we calculated again. We added 250 dollars, 30 dollars and 20 dollars and got right amount of money that we spend.

Yesterday and today we drew the own TMP logo. Before we draw on the wood, we measured and went to the building center. We have to draw two TMP logo in the class. I think we are going to draw again because we have to help who are not finish. When we drew the logo, we have to choose what size we need. After we decided what place I want, I began to draw. Max helped me a lot, so I could finish early. Howeve who are not finish, we should help them tomorrow . So this weekend we can cut the logo out in the school. I hope tomorrow we can finish this drew, so we can decide what color we need or something else we have to do. In my opinion I thank for Max helped me to finish it. Even though we have problem, when we were drawing, but we found the way, and then we finally finished it. I am really getting excited because this project is really cool.

My experience from yesterday and today
Finally, we got three pieces of wood, and we are half way to finish this project now. From yesterday, we started to put TMP logo on the wood. We used pencils and rulers to draw a line, curve, and angles plus protector, too. So, we used pencils to make a line on the wood. To make the line and curve look sharper, we are going to use marker cover the pencil’s line. We were having a hard time with the angles and some alphabets, such as M, T, and P. Today, we make a copy of ours own pieces on another wood. Jacky had a little problem with his piece because of his miscalculate angle, but he got a little bit help from Max. Aaron was the coolest one because he tried to help Seon Jin with her “M” alphabet. Furthermore, Marie and her “T” alphabet were going pretty well. I am the one that have to do “P” alphabet, so I decided to use flexible ruler, which it helps me a lot to do the curve parts. Nevertheless, we enjoyed this activity all together, and we worked hard with the teacher supervised us from the beginning to the end.

Drawing "TMP" logo

Yesterday and today, we drawed the "TMP" logo. We have to make exactly same as "TMP" logo. It was not that easy like what I thought. Because we have to make exactly 90 degree and exact length. First time, I draw the line with 90 degree but when I used long and 90 degree staff such as white board and wood, it was not 90 degree and it was not connected same two lines. I was embarrassed, but Mr. Nakagawa helped me to draw exactly 90 degree and made two lines connected with white boards. However, mine was not that difficult, so I can finished my "T" logo on the time. Seonjin could not finished hers. She said her "M" logo is hard, but I cannot understand. She just had to use ruler and protractor. The only thing she need was measure. I finished mine so I think I can help hers tomorrow.

SKETCH THE LINE ON THE WOOD

We sketched the ‘TMP’ letter on the wood. I thought ‘M’ would be easy to draw because it doesn’t have curved shape. However, it was really hard to draw. I had a 30cm ruler so I had hard time do draw straight line. Although it looked straight to me, when Nakagawa looked at whole letter it was not straight at all. Also when I drew the middle parts of ‘M’, I should know the angle of it. Also, it was hard to keep the balance of drawing middle part. So I went to upstairs and measured the real letter again. I was so glad about that Aran helped me. Because if he didn’t help me at all, I would make mistakes a lot. Right now, I know how it was hard to draw the letter. I am glad about having new experience.

last friday, we went to the building center to buy the wood for our TMP logo. So, we left before the school was over. Taking suburban, we all every exciting. we measure the data again and again, for making the TMP logo perfect. when we finish it, we wanted to show the TMP logo in front of all the tmp students and teachers. To make TMP logo we discussed long time, when we arrived the building center, it smelled so bad, such as restroom.

Last Friday we went to building center for we want to buy some woods, so we can make TMP logo next week. We closed the wood, when we arrived the building center. We were meeting the Jordon’s father, so he exampled and help us to chose the wood which one we need. Singing by Tatum, I tried to talk to him shut up. Tatum always make some noisy, such as sing, talking with himself. Listened by my I pod, my I pod power was gone. To the boy dorm, Mr. Nakagawa was talking about what is the plane for next week. In my opinion we will make it this project because I believe we can have fun in this project. We spent a lot of time to think about the project, so we will be fun.

My experience at the building center
On last Friday, we went to the building center. Checking the wood at the building center, we found a lot of materials over there. To get the best material, we had to ask an expert, which are the people who work there. Talked to the guy with a hat, he was Jordan Maska’s dad. We had a little conversation about this project and wood, so they could help us get the exactly kind of wood and the size we want. They are going to cut the woods, for us to do the TMP logo. We had a lot of fun together, such as driving a car, talking, and discussing about this project. In my conclusion, this project is made by step by step, which is really fun. Even though this project is not over yet, I enjoy it a lot more than you can imagine.

Last Friday we went to the building center. Experiencing, I saw a lot of stuffs, such as woods, tiles and the sticks that made out of metal. Outside of the center there were a lot of woods. We got helped by my soccer whose name is Jim Maska, so we can get over with the finding wood fast. We choose wood that called CDX, for that was the right size. Helped by Jim, he told us that they can cut the woods for us too. It was a great experience. We learned some about woods. For example, sizes of the woods and how to distinguish the difference of the woods. Now we can get started over our project. To finish the project, we have a lot of work left. However, it was helpful and good experience.

EXPERIENCE AT THE BUILDING CENTER

To get started, we went to the building center at seventh hour. We had finished measuring the letter and calculating to the real size, so we were ready to buy the woods. Arriving at the building center, I smelled the woods and paints. Actually, I don’t like to go to the wood shop, such as Home depot, for it is not my interest place. We tried to look for wood by ourselves but it was difficult to find proper wood. Suddenly, we met one guy who knew Max. He tried to help us and explained about price, size, and cutting line of wood. Helped by him, we found the wood that we really like. We bought three woods. Tomorrow, we might draw the line on the wood. I am so excited to draw on it.

Experience in the building center

On Friday, we went to the building center for find woods in there. When we went through several doors, we came out to outside again. Their has ton of woods were set in there such as redwood, pine tree and so on. I thought processing woods will be there, but every woods were unprocessing. So I surprised. It was absolutely different than my thought. Trying to look around wood, we can not see exactly what we want. Because it was windy outside, so we were freezing. Helped outside to find wood, the guy was funny and knew what we need exactly. We didn't have to wait that long. He indicated thin, flexible wood but we want thicker wood so we follow him to see thicker wood . We decided to take that thick wood and we went back to the store. To avoid windy, Seonjin and I ran to the store. The workers promise to ready to prepare the woods for us and we leave there.

When I walked into this Mr. Hiroshi’s classroom, he said that we are going to have a little bit fun activity today. So, what we did today was pretty fun, but it was complicate, too. Because we have to measure and calculate the size of TMP logo, we have to use the rulers to do this. Although I brought the ruler to do this measuring, I have to use pencil, eraser, and a piece of paper to draw a diagram of “P” alphabet. I have to do “P” alphabet because I was the first one that lost in rock, paper, and scissor game. Therefore, it was only “P” alphabet left, and I did not have any chance to choose anything else. After we did all the measuring, we went back to the classroom. Then we started discussing about the size, length, and width of the alphabets. To make it more clearly, we are going to draw a diagram on the graph paper. Also, we use the scale or ratio, which is 1: 24 cm, to calculate the sizes.

The Discussion about the TMP symbol
After we have been discussing about how to make an enormous TMP symbol for a week, we have learned and shared experience together. In the beginning, it is actually started with Lantern, which is a favorite decoration of Japanese. Moreover, Lantern could be made by paper, bamboo tree, or other materials else. Therefore, Lantern gave is the key, and it gave us an idea to build whether TMP logo or Monarch, which is a mascot of the Thomas More Prep Marian high school. Then we decided to start with the TMP logo first because it is easier to make than the Monarch. Now, we are still working on it, and we are hoping that the project would come out terrific. Today, we got another great idea to separate TMP symbol to six parts of them. Although we chose to use wood to make this project, we have to calculate the length, width, and how big of the wood to make the logo. If we do really great on calculation, this project would be perfect. So, tomorrow we are going to continue about this project again. For example, we need to bring the rulers with us tomorrow, for measuring the size of the wood on a piece of paper. In my opinion, this project takes a lot of time, and we work hard as a team, too. So, I wish we could get through this project all together with smiles. We all together have an initiative and creative ideas.

We measured the small TMP logo today. We spent an hour to measured, and everybody have one pieces to measure, so we measured six pieces of TMP logo. We were thinking about how big and how long we need, after we finished the measure. We had the problem, when we finished the measure because we could not decide how big. However we finally solve this problem, so I think we will get better for this project. In my opinion we always have problem for the project, but we always solve one problem by one problem. So I hope we can finish this big and crazy project because this is cool when we finish it.

Today we kept making our TMP logo. we went to second floor, and measured the data about the TMP logo. It took us all the hour.we need to do very carefully. The TMP logo had six parts. So, we divided the work. I did the lampstand. It was really small, I felt I got lucky. When we finish it, we discussed about the data, and defined how big we want, than we calculate the date because we had no enough time. We need to finish it before December. We were also need to be responsible to it. We were not work along, We were worked together. Today in our ESL class, we discussed about TMP logo. It was really difficult to make it because we need to calculate the data. It gave us lots of problems. Our plan is use wood to make a TMP logo. The logo has six parts, we need put them together, and it should be three-dimensional. We had lots of ideas, but I just worried about us. We got a good plan, but how can we do that, it was so big, we never did it before, and the time was very short, however, we can not give up, but, we can finish it, I could not say it will be perfect. We needed to measure the ‘TMP’ letter so we went to upstairs to measure it. We decided whose going to measure six different parts of letters by doing ROCK, PAPER AND SISSORS. I am not good at ROCK,PAPER AND SISSORS so i was fifth to choose the letter to measure. I measured letter ‘M’. It was not hard to measure but complicated because the middle of ‘M’ was bent. So I needed to measure the angle. After we finished to measure the letter, we calculated each length of letters to fit into 30cm. we are excited.

Measure the tmp logo

Today, we have to bring our ruler and we have to measure the all tmp letters. Everybody wants to measure easy one. So mr. Nakagawa ask us to "rock scissors paper." If we win we can go over so winner can chose what he want but looser have no choice or less choice to pick the letters. When we finish to doing "rock scissors paper," I was a winner. Actually, I pay scissors earlier than when he called shot so I embarrassed and I pay rock in confused moment and I got 1st place. It was lucky! So I choose letter "t" and other people choose their letters. Finally, we went to upstairs and start to measure own letters. I just have "inch" ruler so I measure with "inch". When I finish to measure everybody measure with "cm" so I have to measure again with "cm" When I finish to measure my arm was hurt. Because my letter is on the top and I have to measure twice. After that we came back to class and we have to draw exactly as same as we measure.

The Project
We discussed about what size of TMP sign should be. I think it depends on how big is the wall that we hang on to. Also I like 3 dimension ideas. It will look like it is alive. I think we should make 6 pieces of woods so we can stick each other. It will look like just letter T in the afternoon. However, if we spray paint each 6 pieces it won’t look like just a one giant letter T. So I think we should make 6 pieces and spray paint it. And each letters T, M and P we can put on different light color. Everybody thinks it will be hard but if we actually work together I t will work very well. Tomorrow we are measuring the TMP sign in the first floor hallway. I hope we work together get solve problem that we are facing right now and so on.

We told about how to make TMP logo, and Aaron showed his idea and project. I think that is good because he showed us how big we need to make, and that is 3D picture, so that is good start. We have to calculate the TMP logo how big we are going to make, and then we have to prepare every data. If we can make it in the future, I am worry about the bottom of “T” because on the top will be more heavy then the bottom, so I think the bottom will be a disaster when we finish the logo. In my opinion we will find the way to solve this problem because we always pass the difficulty and then enjoy the happy.

MAKING ‘TMP’ LETTERS

We are going to make big ‘TMP’ letter on the wall. Before we got started to make it, we needed to have the ideas about design, size, and ingredient of ‘TMP’ letter. I made a sample letter by using tissue and some people made it by using the paper clips. One of the impressive letter samples was Jacky’s letter. It was made of strings, clips, and thick papers. However, it was 2-dimention so we didn’t pick it up as our project. Also, Aran drew really nice picture of the ‘TMP’ letter and it was 3- dimension. So we are going to make ‘TMP’ letter by using Aran’s idea. We are going to make 6 pieces of letters and measure each letters. And then, we will go to HOME DEPOT to buy the ingredients that we need to make letter. I am so excited to make the big letter for school. I really want to start as soon as possible.

Making TMP logo

Today, we have to think about what kind of style we want and we have to think about how big it is. We have to measure all single part because we want a exactly same as tmp logo. Also we have to think about how we will going to attach all single part together and how we will going to overlap the letters. We have to cut letter "t" because we want a overlap the letters. If we just attach all together, the bottom letters will going to pop it out. So we will going to cut middle of "t"part and attach "m" part under the "t" and attach piece of "t" part and attach "p" part under the piece of "t" part. After then, we have to measure the each letters for exact letters. But we don't have much time to measure the letters so we plan to do tomorrow

To make lantern

I figure that if we want to make simple and cheap lantern, we just need a papers and candles. We have to have colored papers for the cool lantern. From the lantern we can decorate our dinner table cooler. With the colored paper, cut with what ever shape you want. And do not forget leave space for the candle to go in to the colored paper. It does not matter what color it is. You can add some branches to look cooler too. Since the winter is coming we can decorate winter theme. Like white colored lantern it will be really cool.

Soccer State

Yesterday, I feel a lot of sadness, happiness. It was our soccer team’s last game. We could win and go further but we lost. This season was a great season. We won more than a 10 games and we also won the Regional Championship. Last night after we lost the game, seniors cried out loud. It was great season and we improved but it was sad to end the season. For me, I have next year but for seniors it was short and quick season for them. I am so excited for next year. Next year we have chance to win the state championship. I hope next year for the seniors this year we have to win the state. And in TMP we do not have a lot of soccer players so I hope many other students will come out for soccer next year. And even we lost we had happy ending.

This Thursday and Friday we told about the adult. I think adult mean is what you been through and then you learn, and grow up. For example I have one friend he always fought and always took the money from his parent. If his parent doesn’t give money to him, he would fight them until he got the money. One day I hear he went to the jail because he killed two people. This summer I went back to Taiwan, and I went to his house for meet him. We ate dinner together and then he told me what he learns in the jail. He told me about what he was wrong in the past. He said” I have a job now because I have to take care my parent. I learn the fight is when you want to save something important in your life. Even though you have to kill who always give the problem for your family. However I killed them because I didn’t like him. I still very sorry for them because I was stupid bad person, but I have to accept what I did. After this thing, I wake up I talk myself I cannot do that because I already make a lot of hurt for my parent. So, I find the job and take care my family.” After I listened what he said, I think he grows up a lot because he know he was wrong in the past, but he didn’t escape what he did. However He fixes himself. In my opinion he really grow up a lot because he know what is right what is wrong. He knows the fight and kill cannot solve anything. He give me feel he is really change, so I think adult is you know what did you wrong and then you learn and fix yourself.

My experience from tie dye
Yesterday, we had an activity in ESL English class, which was totally cool. The activity called tie dye, and it was my first time I have ever done that. In fact, it was not difficult activity to do. You can do it by yourself at home, but you need to have materials. First of all, you may need some old cotton clothes and RIT. Also, you can choose the color you want from RIT such as pink, blue, yellow, or black. To change your shirt’s color, you need to follow the procedure exactly right. The procedure was easy, which is mix clothes, RIT, and hot water all together in the plastic bags. Waiting for about ten minutes, we open the plastic bags and drain water out. Although we have the clothes with new color on, we still have to let it dry for a few days and wash them it cold water. Then you will get the coolest clothes with your favorite color, which is made by yourself. In my conclusion, this activity is really fun and easy for me because this activity helped me relax. I enjoy this activity a lot after I have been in a tough week with homework.

The Description of being an Adult
Have you ever think you are old enough to be an adult? If so, then I am the one who thinks that way, too. I am sixteen years old still, but I am kind of feel like I am an adult already. Sometimes, I could feel that way because I have to have responsibility, self-respect, and self-discipline. Also, I need to make a big decision about what is right, or what is wrong. For example, when I am surrounding with little kids, I need to be mature enough to take care of the kids. So, I need a commitment and responsibility to be led the kids in the right ways. Being an adult, you have to think a lot. Because some acting of yours could lead to the wrong way such as smoking, drinking, and fighting, that is why you have to think carefully over again and again. In my opinion, it is not that easy to be an adult at all. To become an adult, you have to have self-confident, also. Then you would do what is right against the people who think it is wrong.

My English class talked about being an adult. Usually, we define being adult as being over 18 years old. I think adults should be responsible with their jobs, obligations, and relationships. Also, adults should be able to live by themselves. However, some adults are out of control and irresponsible. How can we define them as adults? I think the actual definition of adults is how adults think deeply. Although people are above 18 years old, if they are not thoughtful about everything that affect their life, they can’t be defined as adults. For example, people who sell illegal drugs to teenager are not adult. They are not thinking about how it will affect in life of teenager. It can ruin young people’s life. We can’t call them as adult and follow them because they are older than us. Another example, people are thoughtful will care about their future and plan their life. However, some people are not so they don’t know what are going on their life. I think people are thoughtful about everything that can affect to their life can be defined as adults.

What is an ADULT?
I thought a lot of definition for the word adult. I think an adult is who knows that if it is right or wrong. They know what they should do or they should not do. For example, some immature kids think it is so cool to smoke and drink. Is that a true adults do? It does not mean drinking and smoking is not the adults do. It means you have to think that what your decision is. If your kids it is not right to smoke or drink. People who makes right decision, like they do not drink or smoke if their illegal to do those stuffs. Also another definition that I think for the word an adult is who have a positive mind. Age does tells that person is adult or not but what he or she have in their head decides to being an adult. So I think those two definitions which are an adults knows right or wrong, and an adults is who have positive mind.

I never heard about the tie dying before, but I saw the shirts which looks like tie dyed shirts. Whenever I saw the tie dyed shirts, how can they do that? However, Mr. Nakagawa showed us how and we did it together. First when Mr. Nakagawa explained to us I did not understand the whole explanation. So we actually made the tie dyed shirts. I tied some parts of the tower and put in the plastic bag with water and black colored rit. After I mixed them well I open the plastic bag and took it out. It was really cool. It was not covered with whole black color. The tied part was white and the other parts were black. It looked like camouflage tower. I want to try next time again

Definition of "Adult"

Actually it’s hard to define “Adult.” Because sometime you are not adult but doing adult acting or adult doing kids acting. My adult definition is when you became a high school students. Your head is grow up enough when you are high school students. You are not a kids anymore. You know what you have to do, what you can’t do it, and what you need. You have responsible about your works. When you became high school student, your parents expect responsibility about you and they believe you will be good at your works. Also on special day, they let us drink alcohol sometimes when you became high school students. That will make you feel you are like a adult. Another reason is you will make your ID card in your country. That is the one of official provement by government. That representive you have responsible about your acting in the society! You have to think about your situation really well and competent acting.

Tie-Dye Experience

I had tie-dye experience first time in Mr.Nakagawa's class. First time, I was worry about doing tie-dye because I was not sure about how to do it. But Mr. Nakagawa explained how to do it to us so we started to prepare tie-dye. First of all, I tied floor cloth so tied part not going to be dyed. Then we poured little bit of water in to the plastic bag and poured color powder in the water. Depend on how dark you want, you can pour little bit of powder or a lot. Next I put floor cloth in the plastic bag and we tied plastic bag. We shook the plastic bag so floor cloth can dyed well. We waited 10minute. If you want floor cloth soaked well, you have to wait 24hour. Then let them dried.
I never think about tie-dye before. I don’t know who creative tie-dye but I think it’s really creative thinking. Nowadays, people earn a lot of money for creative thinking. I think we have to learn and develop creative thinking. Also we have to spread creative thinking so everybody can use it.

I have not died clothes, towels, or socks because I didn’t have opportunities to try dyeing. Also I saw my friend who destroyed her clothes by dyeing so I was scared. However, I tried tie-dye in Nakagawa’s class. To make a shape on a towel, I need to tie a towel with rubber band. I really wanted to make a heart shape but it was too hard so I gave up. I just made a circle shape and used purple color. When I mixed water and dye powder, I was careful not to splash dyed water. After I put my towel into dyed water, I couldn’t wait until 3:00 pm. So Marie and I just checked our towels. Trying not to touch a dyed towel because I don’t want my hand to become purple, I spread it out. After I spread my towel out, I was surprised. It was beautiful and exactly what I want. The shape that I tied came out clearly. Actually, I regretted that I didn’t bring my white shirt. It would be awesome. Even if this project finished, I want to try tie-dye by myself. I think giving tie-dyed clothes, towels, or socks can be really good present. And I will do it

fire drill

First, when I heard the fire drill alarm I thought a lot of stuffs. Like is the tornado coming? Or school is on fire? Back home in Korea, my school had fire drill too. My friends and I thought it is okay and goof around during the fire drill. However, these days when I think fire drill is really important to follow even if it is just a practice. You or I never know when actually it will happen that is why we should follow the fire drill. I read an article long time ago about the fire drill. I still remember because it was about students who did not follow the fire drill got hurt. The story was fire drill alarm when on and every student thought it was a just practice so some of them are just goofed around. However, it was a real fire drill that school’s cafeteria was on fire. Some student did not know and got hurt from that right after lunch time. So I think fire drill is really important to follow even it is the practice.

When I looking for school for studying aboard. I find tmp and other schools. I apply to few school and a I got acceptance from few schools. Then I have to choose one school to study. When I got acceptance from tmp I thought I’m not going to go tmp. Because there has too much Asian and I don’t like the dorm. Later, I choose to go tmp because I heard this school is better than other school. When I came tmp first time, I really surprised it. Because it really similar to my Korean school. My school was Catholic school and outside figure was similar too. I was worry about staying tmp. Because when I was in Washington State, I didn’t like that school. It was really small and it’s hard to make friends. Also tmp is hard to get friends too. But it’s better to have other Asian people to talk with and understand each others. Also I can chose subjects whatever I want a listen and there has a lot of sports I can choose. Now, I like the dorm too. There has a lot of friends to talk with so, I’m not lonely. Every R.A are friendly and Joann is like my mom. There has few defects I don’t like but I think everywhere will be have defects. I really like tmp right now.

My gracious brother ever
I have one big brother, who always takes care of me and helps me solve any kind of problems. My brother name is Tata, and he is the coolest guy I have ever known. Now, he is studying in the college about medication. He wears glasses, and he is pretty tall in his age. When I don’t feel very well, he always tells me jokes to make me laugh. Moreover, he is a smart guy, and he never got lazy. When he takes the test, he usually gets an “A” all the time. Also, he taught me how to write and how to read when I was a little kid. Once in a while, he acts like a baby, and he is insane. However, he hardly picks on me even I am his little brother. Sometimes, I miss him a lot as much as I miss my mom and my dad.

I still have sick, so I still have not any power now. I have to go to school because I have to finish my homework which day I was gone. Monday and Tuesday I was very sick, I got the fever 39 degree. That felt very bad because you will lose energy and then you will keep sleeping until you feel better. For example I try to go to school, but I could not because my body could not move, and my body did not have any energy. Unlucky that’s two day had a lot of homework, so I have to finish that because my grade is very low in every class. Now I know if you are not really sick do not try to do not go to school because you will spent more time for finish the homework. If you are really sick don’t go because nobody wants to get the sick from who is sick. In my opinion I am not fever now, but I still have little sick. I am coughing now and that make my voice change, so I am very tired. I hope who are my friends don’t get the sick because that feel very bad.

I NEED A LAPTOP

I don’t have a laptop. Maybe just I and Jennifer are people that don’t have laptop in the girl’s dormitory. In Korea, I don’t need a laptop because I have a computer in my house. Also, my host parent’s house has a computer so I have used it last year. However, I need a laptop this year. First, I am doing a lot of works with a computer. I am taking a writing class and most writing class homework is typing journal on the Nakagawa’s blog. Although girl’s dormitory has a computer in the living room, I want to use my own computer whenever I do my homework. Also I usually talk with my family using a Skype because it is free and I can see my family using web camera. However, a computer in the living room doesn‘t have web camera, microphone, and speaker. So I should borrow laptop of my friends whenever I want to talk with my family. Second, purchasing a laptop in America is cheaper than in Korea. I will need laptop if I go to college located in different cities from my house. I think I really need to buy a laptop. So I am saving money because I don’t want to ask to my parents money for a laptop.

Protect myself from sickness

Nowadays, people are getting sick because of the changes in weather. First of all, I want to talk about the students in the dorm. Many students in the dorm did not take care of themselves well. Therefore, they came down with illnesses from the viruses around them. Billy Chow, my roommate, is sick too. Therefore, I have to take good care of myself, and I have to beware of the people who have the flu. Some students and I are still healthy and strong. For example, my friend and I keep doing activities such as sports together. It makes us strong and keeps us away from sickness. I always wash my hands every time before breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also, I usually drink water and milk instead of any kind of soda. However, I still have to eat healthy food and a lot of fruits also. Finally, to protect myself from sickness, I need to get enough sleep during this rough week.

HOW TO PROTECT ME FROM VIRUSES

This week, many people got flu and are absent in school. Yesterday, I had fever, coughed, and my throat was sore. Right now, I feel better than yesterday. There are two methods that help me to feel better. First, when you feel sick, you need to have a rest. That reason that you get sick is because your body becomes too weak to protect from viruses that cause the flu. So you need to recover your body by sleeping and having a rest. I went to bed after school at yesterday. After taking a nap, I felt better because a fever decreased. Second, you need to wash your hands many times. Especially, you touch a lot of things that other people touch too in school. If you don’t wash your hands, it is easy to get the germs from sick people. Also you can be the one that spreads the germs and viruses to other people.

2ways to protect myself from sickness

There are 2ways to protect myself from sickness. First of all, you have to wash your hands with soap everytime when you came back from outsides. The reason is you may touch may staffs from outside. Even if you went to shopping in Wal-mart, you will touch cart, many staffs, and people. Many people and Sick people also will touch staffs too. So sick people’s germs can move to you. If you wash your hands with soap, it help to preventand from germs and sick. You also have to wash your hands after you used bathroom too. After you wash your hands with soap, you also have to put on hands sanitizer.
The other way is you have to stay away from sick person. When they coughing, their germs are floating on the air and you will breathe in to your nose and mouse. So their virus permeate to your body and you will get sick. For example, every Tawinish girls hang around together all the time so, every Tawinish get sicks. If you don't want a get sicks stay away from sick person if you can.

My Favorite Food
I’m the person who eats a lot. I love to eat chinese food, Thai food, and Korean food. Also, I would like to eat hamburger and pizza. When I come to America, I get to eat junk food and soda. So, I have my favorite food stores. The best one that I always go into is McDanold’s. Because they have tasty burgers and fries, and they have good service. If I want to get a drink or ice-cream, I’d rather go to Sonic. Then I can get cherry-limonade or oreo blast. When I have friends, I would like to order pizza from Pizza hut or Domino’s. Once in a while, I will get fried chicken from KFC. Moreover, Taco Bell is one of my favorite also. However, I miss Thai food sometimes. In my opinion, many type of food from several countries are different. But I really love to eat them all, no matter what.

Having a study hall, I really do not like it. I mean it does not matter if I have homework to do nut when I have nothing to do I am bored as hack. I should be excited for the study hall since I do not have any study hall during the school. However, since no one is teaching or discussing about what we are leaning in the class it is just bored. I cannot say that I do not want to have study hall to teachers but I really do not want to have study halls. Also it is my opinion but during the study hall, time goes so slow but when I have classes which teacher to teach and students to learn time flies. So my whole thinks and opinion about the study hall is when I have works to do I kind of like to have study hall. On the other hand, I do not like it when I have nothing to work on.

We went to last class today, but when I hear Mr. Nakagawa said I will sent you to study hall because I have to see the doctor. I want to talk to Mr. Nakagawa no way because I hate the study hall. I cannot do whatever I want in the study hall. I already spent 3 hour with study hall room, before Mr. Nakagawa gave us study hall because we have to take a PAST in the morning. PSAT spend me 3 hours, and that was boring for me because I will not take SAT next year. In my opinion I hope tomorrow I will not get the anymore study hall because I just sit on the chair do my own, and I cannot sleep in the study hall. I want to talk to Mr. Nakagawa don’t get the sick anymore because I hate the study hall.

Korea’s Unique Custom

In Korea, we have peculiar customs, which are different from other countries. The first thing is etiquette. I want a talk about etiquette about teachers. When you met teachers, you have to bow to teachers. Also, I can’t call teacher’s name. Another etiquette is about parents. I have to use honorific words to parents and I can’t pick up the spoon or chopsticks before parents pick it up. In addition, I have to bow to parents when they wake up and go to bed. Other one is about social etiquette. I have to concede seat to elders in public place. The second thing is about food. First of all, we have fermentation food; kimchi, soy sauce, dunjang, and so on. We ate fermentation food everyday and that helps blood circulation and protect from cancer. The other one is we have a lot of side dishes. We have at least 4~5side dishes in each meal.

WINTER

Last Saturday, we had a little bit of snow in Hays. The weather is getting colder early that I expected. I am excited about coming winter. First, winter has many holidays, such as Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Years Day. I like the feeling that wait and count day of the coming holidays. Especially, Christmas is my favorite holiday in winter. Imagining of someone who will get present from me, I am so excited. Also I get a lot of presents. There are many foods that I like at Christmas dinner. Also I watch many movies. Second, we start to turn on heater or fire wood. Especially fire wood warms me up and reminds me family. I like to drink hot cocoa watching movie with family. Third, I love snow. If it is snow, I go outside and touch the snow although my hands are freezing. I like to ride sled on the hill and make snowman. So I like winter.

First study hall for ESL

This is my first time going to study hall for ESL classes, and I am very excited for 3 reasons. First, it is because I can sleep in study hall. For example in the Mr. Nakagawa class, we cannot sleep. Even we finished homework, we have keep the eyes open. Now I can sleep, after I finished work sheet. Max is sits in from of me, so his body can cover me then I can sleep. Second, it is because I can do my other homework. For example I cannot do other homework in the ESL class. Sometime Mr. Nakagawa gave us study hall, but I got unlucky because I didn’t have homework at that time. Now, I can finish early then do my other homework. Third, it is because I don’t need to study the text in the study hall. For example, we always have text in the class. We need to read, write, and understand what is text talking about. Sometime I hate to do the text because I am lazy person, so I am very enjoying no text now today in the study hall. In my opinion in fact, I hate this study hall teacher because we cannot talk to each other. I like to talk and listen with Mr. Nakagawa and classmate because we can have fun in that time. Now in the study hall is not cool because every body doing there own. If we talking and sleeping in the study hall, study hall teacher will send who is sleeping in the study hall to the office. This point same with Mr. Nakagawa.

This is my fist time going to study hall for ESL classes, and I am
very excited for 3 reasons. First, it is because we have more free
times. For example, When we finish Mr.NAKAGAWA's work, we
don't need stay in his classroom, and listen to him. it makes me
very excited.second, it is because we do less work than in his
class. For example, when we take ESL class. We need remember
lots of English skills, and it makes us very tired. We still need to
do lots of works, but in study hall. We only have journal. I like this
feeling. third, it is because i can use dictionary. For example, When
we take ESL class, we can not use dictionary, if we use it, he will take
it and keep it until next day after school, but in study hall, we can use
it, the teacher doesn't care. In my opinion, I enjoy the study hall time, I
can finish my homework quickly, and I have more free time.

First Study Hall for ESL

This is my first time going to Study Hall for ESL classes, and I am very excited for 3 reasons. First, it is because I neither have to see Mr. Nakagawa’s face, nor go to his classroom for this hour. For example, I can get a flesh air in study hall class. I feel better in this class and happy to be here. But in his class room is opposite. Because it’s dark and smaller, I don’t like it very much. Sometimes I feel depress in that class. However, I really miss Mr. Nakagawa’s class, and I wonder where he is at now. Second, it is because I can meet new friends in Study Hall class. For example, there are many students in this class. It is more than twenty students in this hour. I don’t have to sit with a few people in the classroom. I can ask for help if necessary. I can talk to them when I’m stressful. I can do my math works together. Third, it is because I hardly come to study in this class. For example, I wish I had study hall. At least, it could help me relax. This is my last hour, so I can do all my homework. If I could finish it all, then I don’t have to be worried about homework. However, the teacher who is in charge this hour is strict. She is not mean. On the other hand, she is bounteous. I always try to finish my homework as much as I can when I’m in study hall. In my opinion, study hall class is one of my favorite classes ever. I hope I can this class someday. Then I will have plenty of time to relax and study other important homework at the dorm.

First Study Hall for ESL

This was my first time going to Study Hall for ESL classes, and I was very excited for these reasons. First, it was my first time going to Study Hall in ESL classes. In the end of the 6th hour, I heard announcement. It said that Nakagawa class has Study Hall at7th hour. I was excited because it was my first time to go to the Study Hall instead of ESL. I wondered how I will feel at the Study Hall in 7th hour. Second, I felt free in Study Hall. If I should go to the ESL class, I have to follow Nakagawa’s rule. I can’t speak Korean and sleep in his class. However, I can sleep, talk quietly and play computer if I am done with work that Nakagawa gave to me. Third, going to the Study Hall is special to me. If I don’t have Study Hall, I meet same classmates in ESL class. However, I met friends from different classes and grades. So I had opportunity to make more friends. I went to different class room. Study Hall class room is awesome. It is a big and quiet. Especially Study Hall classroom is bright compared with Nakagawa class room. I meet different teacher. Today, Mrs. Slansky was teacher. I was excited because I never have her class. In my opinion, I like to go to Study Hall at ESL class sometime, because it makes my day in school special.

First Study Hall for ESL

This is my first time going to Study Hall for ESL classes, and I am very excited for 3 reasons.
First, it is because I can study anything after finish Mr. Nakagawa's assignments. For example, I can write history essay or study chemistry after Mr.s homeworks. I may finish his homework in 30min and do other homework. Maybe spend last time for writing English homework. Also I can ask questions to friends what I don’t know.
Second, it is because I can use computer. For example, I can check my grade, searh information about my homework, and play computer. I can do essay homework or type journal this period. Although I don’t have any homework to do, I spend time with computer. Like watch news about Korea.
Third, it is because I don’t have journal homework after school is over. For example, after arrive in dorm, I may have more free time. I can play computer, listen music, or doing other homeworks. When we don’t have Homework, I have my own free time. Also that time, I can go wal-mart trip or go to nations for eat dinner.
In my opinion, study hall give us more time to doing homeworks. I think it’s good idea to have study hall sometimes. Also, we can reduce our brainstorming time. When we keep doing homework, student may exhausted about school. So it’s better to have free time. It will help to raise efficiency.

This is my first time going to Study Hall for ESL classes, and I am very excited for 3 reasons
First, it is because, I do not have to see Mr. Nakagawa. It is mean but oh well. Every class I had to see Mr. Nakagawa, but this time he is gone. I am happy that we do not have to do works. Also I do not have to listen to him what he is talking about.
Second, it is because we can talk in the class, when we talk in the class Mr. Nakagawa gets mad all the time. However, we can talk in the study hall. I mean we cannot talk very loud but we can still talk to each other. Also I do not know if I can tell this but we can share some answers. And we talk our own language only for today.
Third, it is because, it’s first time having study hall in Mr. Nakagawa’s class. I never had study hall in Mr. Nakagawa’s class. This will be first and last study hall for Mr. Nakagawa’s class I think. If I had bunch of study halls I will not feel excite about the study hall. However, since I do not have any study hall for ant classes.
I do not think I am not going to have another study hall forever for Mr. Nakagawa’s class. However, I was excited for first study hall in Mr. Nakagawa’s class.
