Mr. Nakagawa said, “I will go to Kansas City. We don’t have ESL class tomorrow, so you guys have study hall tomorrow in ESL class.”
We felt so surprised and a little unwilling because we didn’t want to go to study hall and study hall is too boring.
We’re too disappointed and said, “Ah……ah……..ON!” Mr. asked us, “Why don’t you want study hall? You can have more time to study by yourself.”
Pinging said, “Study hall is too cold!” But I think study hall is too noisy, most American students can’t study quietly. They are always talking and joking.
On the other hand, Mrs. S. shouts at study hall students twice a minute. Last time, we just said one word, and she asked me to stand for 10 minutes!
However, Mr. said “I have a big project. I have to go tomorrow, and you guys have assignments, and you have to finish them in class then hand them in.” So, we didn’t talk anymore.
