When Mr. Nakagawa was a freshman in the college. He went to have a speech. The teacher who gave that speech took out an envelope and raised it up and said,“I have an envelope here. Dose anyone want to get it?”. However no one answered him and they all turned face to others and looked at person who sat near with them and encouraged others lightly. Then the teacher said,“There is some money in this envelope. Now, dose anyone want it?”. Mr. went to the podium and got the envelope then he found there was only one dollar and twenty cents in the envelope. All the students laughed at Mr. Then when teacher took out another envelope and asked same question, lots of students run to the podium and wanted to get it. Finally the teacher said,“Someone who can stand up and came to get it without thinking at first time, you would succeed”.
Be yourself don’t care about other’s judgment too much
When I was a junior high school student, there were many speech contests. I always wanted to try, but I gave up my thought again and again. I was afraid of others laughing at me if I did not get good grades in speech contest because if others laugh at me I would be really shy and could not do any thing. So, I lost chance time after time. Now I realized I should get the chance and try my best to do it because chance would not waiting for anyone.
