Summary

Today, Mr. told us a story. Before the story, he took a envelope, and asked us that who wanted it. Edward wanted the envelope because David encouraged him, so Edward took it. However there was not anything inside it. Then, Mr. started his story which was when he was in college. When he was there, and in his freshman year, there was orientation. A teacher asked students who wanted a envelope. Everyone just looked at each other, and did not go to her to get it. At second, she asked again, and also she said there was money inside the envelope. After she said, Mr. stood up right away, and walked to her. He took the envelope, and opened it, but there was only 1 dollar 20 cents. At third, the teacher put two stuff in front of her, and asked again. Students rushed each other because at that time, they thought that there was money. Mr. said if a person who came to her at first without any question, he or she could be success in the future.

Lesson

I should not be lazy to wonder about something.

During the algebra class, in 5th hour, I had a worksheet to do. There were about 20 questions. I was trying to do it, but I almost fell asleep because 5th hour is right after the lunch. Mr. Peterson was solving odd numbers questions on the board. I knew that if I study with it, I only had half of the homework after the class, so I tried to work, but I could not tolerate it. I just fell asleep, and woke up 5 minutes before the class finished. When I woke up, I saw the board, and there was only 2 questions on it because he had to erase front side’s questions to solve back side’s. I wrote them down quickly. I missed front side’s questions. I regretted that I slept. If I didn’t fall asleep, I could write down the questions. I should not be lazy to do something.
