Service hours-Meals on Wheels
I went to do service hour, meals on wheels with Mrs. Wagoner in Hays on one Saturday. First, We took food from the hospital. We took a car and arrived at the hospital at about 10 a.m. Then we walked into the hospital and got the food to deliver. Mrs. Wagoner and I worked together and put prepared meals in the back of the car. Then we got into the car and left to deliver the food. Second, we delivered the food to the people. We took food to five families. We carried the food and knocked on each door and gave them the food. What impressed me most is that an 89 year old lady who felt lonely, grabbed my hands and would not let go. She appreciated our kindness and said, “Thank you, you are a good kid. Third, We finished our mission and went back to the school. Mrs. Wagoner and I got back to the car and went back to TMP at about 12:30 p.m.
